| @Scot R: Wasn't sure when you or Stuart were back exactly. Now we know. Hope Nathan has a great day.
@John: I suppose it wouldn't do for the Allies to lose, but if you put on a wargame that is the risk you take; If it was a re-enactment then you can only expect one outcome. Were the Umpire decisions made after they realised that with the BP rules the British could never stop a French column? | |

| Won't be back in till the 30th. Stuart H probs the same. Nathan's birthday this weekend, so Stuart R won't be in. Think Dave is looking for a game though. | |

| Allan I knew on Saturday Afternoon that it would be an allied win as there were some umpire decisions that more or less altered the game. We reckon it was rigged as it wouldn’t do to have Waterloo fought for a veterans charity and those damned impertinent froggies change history lol | |

| That makes me think last weekend's big battle rules were more "interpreted" than read from the rulebook. Sounds like a fine plan and will look pretty. 28mm Napoleonic is always pretty. | |

| Give Captain Oblivious a static defensive position he can't get that wrong. Run that Battle of the Bulge scenario I played in with Bill. Let Captain Oblivious & The .50 Cal Kid have the Americans. The .50 Cal Kid can organise the troops to his liking and tell Captain Oblivious what to do. They'll be happy apart from there being no way to win the scenario. Some other likely gamers can have the hordes of German tanks to steamroller them.
Ian won't make it in, but I'll check what Dave & Stuart are for doing. If Scot & Stuart H are back they might be playing something different.

| We spoke about a Chain Of Command Game or two. Depends if Ian & Dave & Stuart are all in and who else is appearing. I'll text Ian just now to see if he knows if he will be back for Sunday.

| Ok Doc, I will probably run a battlegroup game but for four only because sure as hell I will end up with captain oblivious playing which makes any game a chore. | |

| Just bought Wargames illustrated , will bring in the ww2 sprue if anyone wants it. If anyone has the free awi sprue from last months issue and they don't want then I would be happy to have it for my militia units.

| Just to let those who weren't in on Sunday know that next Sunday will be the last game in the What A Tanker campaign. I intend to do a single game with all the players on one table as the Allies fight their way into/through Berlin. | |

| Oh go on then Mind you who is making up the Spanish list? History or Bill's imagination? As long as I get to be French & give Bill's imaginary Spanish a kicking. | |
