I had totally forgotten that we are using the church tomorrow and not the hall as there is a fete or something on.

I have no idea either Doc, just mine and Eddie's games. Cameron and Allan are on holiday and Bill can't manage in. Not sure about Graham .

Eddie's post said he had space for more players in his ACW game. I've no idea what anyone else is up to. I wasn't in last week & no games listed or anyone asking about games on the Facebook group.

This Sunday Mick and myself are having another ACW encounter using Regimental Fire and Fury. Anyone else can join in, can take another 3 players.

Still not sure if Brian is coming in yet. If no word from him by Friday Scot I would assume he is not coming in this Sunday.
Stuart is not playing his SAGA game with Brian this Sunday.

Cheers John.

Our original plan that was while StuartH and David played Saga for first half of day, StuartR and I were going to try out Gangs of Rome. Then David was planning on running a game of Spectre Operations for the 4 of us.

Lewis posted on the facebook page that he'd be coming in and was looking for a game on Sunday. I said we'd fit him in somewhere, as I wouldn't see him short of a game. But as we don't have the stuff for more than a 2 player game of Gangs of Rome, or 5 players for Spectre Ops, we'd need new games for the day that would take the extra player.

Then we found out that Brian might be in, possibly to play his game of Saga vs StuartH after the game vs David. But that would mean Brian having to wait till 3 for a game, and like Lewis, I wouldn't see him short.

So now I need to plan a potential 4 player game for the first half of the day, but if Brian doesn't come in it'll just be a 3 player game I need for Lewis, StuartR and me. But then if Brian is in he might be your 6th player, which means Lewis and he could play Battlegroup with you, and Stuart and I can play our 2 player game while we wait for David and StuartH, then we can play our 4 player game. But if Brian's not in that'll need to be a 5 player game as we'll accommodate Lewis. And if Brian is in he might play his Saga game vs StuartH meaning I just need a 4 player game for StuartR, David, Lewis and myself. But then, StuartH might not want to do his Saga game vs Brian, or Brian might not want to play Battlegroup, so I'll need to prepare a 6 player game to be played in under 3 hours. So I'll need to prep games for 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 players, that can be played in under 3 hours...

You can maybe see why I'm tearing my hair out as I try and arrange and prep various games that may or may not be played.

I could fit Lewis into my battlegroup game but I would really need another player to make up to 6 .

Should've said that Lewis is looking for a game. We'll look to accommodate him if no-one else can?

I'll be playing something with StuartR, probably Lewis, and later Dave and maybe StuartH.

What plans does Brian have for Sunday, Eddie? Is he definitely in?

Games this Sunday coming so far are;

I think John is organizing a WW 2 skirmish for Mick, Bill, Graham and Ian.
David V Stuart and Ed V Scott (twice) in the SAGA campaign, possibly Stuart V Brian as well.

Anything else ?

Yes. I got that e-mail. Seriously thinking about it. Two of my sons did History at Glasgow Uni and speak very highly of Tony Pollard who's fronting the project. My only concern is probably having to rebase an entire division to their basing requirements!

Hope to get in next Sunday (24th). Can bring figs or happy to sit in on whatever has space.

Hi Stuart

Yes Jack got in touch. They are looking for support for the Waterloo Uncovered charity first of all. They are hoping to represent every unit that was at the Battle in 28mm, so they need gamers who have a napoleonic collection of figures that took part, they reckon on around 20000 painted figures. More or less each wargamer will be teamed up with a forces veteran and will say, be brigadiers or even divisional command. Quite a task in only a year.

I forgot to ask on Sunday but did everyone else from the Lardie weekend get Derek's email about the large Waterloo game next year in Glasgow?
