All three games during season 4 are 'pencilled in' for the 19th, should be interesting.

After receiving all the orders the following actions for season 4 are;
Ed is campaigning against Scot.
Brian is raiding Ed.
Scott is raiding Brian.
Everyone else is defending.

As I have mentioned I intend to make the campaign last for 8 seasons after the sixth season I will issue everyone with fresh up-to-date roster sheets for the final two seasons.

Small reminder once you buy a banner you count as a Lord even if you temporarily fall below 15 power, this is important for extra victory points. You can also buy one land for two wealth. Read the rules.

Well that is season 3 completed and for Scot a very busy one. I will get your season 4 orders during this week on here or next Sunday, Scot, Mick and Bill have already gave me their orders.
Still waiting for David to give me his stats after his fine victory over Scot.
Campaign is working very well.

So me and scot got our game done. I edged a defensive victory over him by 40 vps to 38!
It was a battle over sacred ground, which saw scots warlord fall, taking a serious wound and getting captured Very Happy
I'll post my after battle stats soon!

As of today the campaign ratings are as follows;

Brian 0 VP and 14 power, only Atheling with a war banner.
Mick 1 VP and 11 power.
George 4 VP and 17 power.
Ed 1 VP and 14 power.
Bill 2 VP and 15 power.
Scot 1 VP and 13 power.
David 1VP and 15 power
Scott O VP and 13 power.
Stuart 2 VP and 12 power. Deceased but new leader with new traits, position is available.

Remember when you get to 15 power you have the option to buy your personal banner costing 1 wealth but to offset this you gain 1 in reputation.

David, Scott, Brian, Mick and Ed still have one skirmish to fight in, Scot has three and all required to complete season 3.

Just been reading up the rules on the campaign, seems there has been some mistakes with the victory points. I will give a revised score once I check how the points were worked out.

It's gonna be a wee bit more difficult to get this season done, what with Christmas and all. But apart from that, I think we've been playing through the games fine. There hasn't been any big delays. If necessary, me and scot will probs do our game away from the club.

Two games played on Sunday.
Bill defeated George
Ed defeated Mick (1st skirmish)
This Sunday Scot hoped to fight games against Brian and Scott, however Brian can not make it and Scott is to busy playing something else.
Scot will attempt to arrange games with Brian and Scott on his next visit to the club on the 15th of January.

Think we need to accept there has to be a bit of come and go with arrangements. Some members can not make it in each week so require opponents to be flexible to get the games played in a reasonable time scale.
Sadly that problem already has reared its head, I do not know how we can ensure folk are willing to play when the opportunity arises foregoing other arrangements.
If this is not sorted out this campaign like so many others that we have tried will fail due to lack of commitment of some of the players.

The above is not a criticism of anyone in particular but just an observation and a likely outcome if folk can not be available to get through these encounters.

Next orders will be gathered on Sunday 15th of January to Wednesday 18th so I can organise season 4 and possible games for Sunday the 22nd.
Happy Christmas folks.

Here are the battles and decisions for the third season.

Bill is raiding George
Ed is raiding Mick and in return
Mick is raiding Ed
George is defending
David is defending
Scott is raiding Scot
Brian is raiding Scot
Scot is campaigning against David

Everyone has a battle, Scot has three while Ed and Mick will fight each other twice.

Next orders will be collected on the 8th of January, hopefully Scot will have managed to fight his three battles no later than this.

Sorry Mick you are not allowed to defend in consecutive seasons, your character is only allowed to defend for one season then they must either raid or campaign.

Saga campaign this season;
David is raiding George.
Bill is raiding David.
Brian, George, Scot, Mick and myself are defending.
Scott has joined the campaign as the Welsh allied to the Scots(me), they seem a very interesting faction relying heavily on javelins. Scott will give me his orders after his practice game.
