Not a problem Scot, didn't know for sure if you would be in anyway, Dave mentioned that he was coming in so I held off to see if yourself or Stuart would be joining him before posting.

Ps would have been happy to run it as 2 one on one's using table halfs. Lol

Yeah, sorry, I'd have been happy to can our plans for tomorrow, but 1 thing I need to do is some playtesting for some of the stuff I've been working on for River Horse. So our change of plans will be a playtest game of Terminator Genisys and trying out AvP. Had hoped Stuart would be in to be our third player but that's looking unlikely.

And if you ask me Frostgrave works best as a 2 player game...

Frostgrave is designed for two players, but does lend itself to 3-4 players for more entertainment.
Happy to add others if they are interested was thinking of asking Scot and Dave till Scot had posted he had plans. Still not sure if scoop is in but he's also welcome to join in if interested.

Not really in (historical)saga mood Eddie sorry. Dungeon saga works fine with two but again is more entertaining with more.

Would Frostgrave not be better with more players? Would anyone else like to join in.

Would Saga not be a better option for a two player game?

Think it's just me and Eddie left John, (unless scoop is in?)

Frostgrave Eddie? Or dungeon saga?

I can add a couple of players to our seven year's war game if anyone hasn't got a game organised.

I'll be in with Dave this weekend. We're going to be trying out AvP (although the solo games I've played have failed to convince me on the game, want to try it against a human opponent). Time permitting we may play Star Wars Risk (it's not Risk, honest) or playtest some Turf War Z.

So far only things planned were :

Allan, Cameron, Doc and Graham are playing Dystopian wars.
John and Ally playing 2 player Honours of war.

Not sure who else is coming in or if anything else is planned.

Hey Eddie,

I'm happy to play if you want to umpire, can just as easy sort something else out or take a week off if you prefer to play.

Hi John

Glad you are feeling a bit better.
As regards the 7YW just join in with us, if George plays I am happy to umpire to try out the rules. 4 player game will probably be a better test as to their worth.

Hi Eddie

I am feeling a good bit better so am hoping to be in this coming Sunday. I will text Ally to see if he fancies syw and we can either join in your game or have our own.

Cheers

Next week will be trying out 7YW rules 'Honours of war' with Brian possibly George and anyone else?
Brian has 15mm Saxons and I have French would need extra figures for more players.

Doesn't really work that way with frostgrave, it's more about how many games you have played with the warband and not lvl's.
The rules are (imo) wisely restricted to an increase or decrease of any stat/spell to 1 per game played. So though you can gain say 3 levels your spells only get 1point easier to cast, etc.

@ Frostgravers:-

Here's 2p worth.

Wouldn't it be sportsman-like if the more experienced warband player(s) just took NPC warbands that were of equal level with those of the Noobs?  This need only be until the Noobs' warband(s) reached the same levels as the experienced Player(s) own warband(s).

This means that everyone would get a game and the Noobs would progress while gaining insights into how the rules actual work.  Simples, eek!

@Scot

You muse about farming all you want.  I have some sheep, cows, goats & chickens in 25mm scale if you want to use them.

We will continue to play Frostgrave wrong including whatever decision we reach about this. Seems a simple solution.

lol! lol!  lol!
