Space for a fourth in your CoC game John? If not it's fine Smile

This Sunday Brian and myself will be playing a British Grenadier AWI scrap. If two other folks would like some practice for our Sheffield battle then you are welcome to join in.

Creative Assembly are having a 30 Year anniversary sale on STEAM until Monday 4th September. Large discounts on Historical games & smaller discounts on Warhammer stuff. Also Alien: Isolation is on sale. Remember to bring your brown pants!

Just thought you would like to know in case there is anything folk still need to pick up.

I am running a Battlegroup Overlord game for Bill , Graham , Scott and probably Ally.

Nice of the Prestwick lads to offer us a game of some sort with them. Unfortunately Saturdays are my family days so I won't manage to go . Sundays are mostly the only suitable days here.

Iain from the Prestwick club has contacted me to pass an invitation to the Ayr club. Every so often, they rent the Symington Scout Hall for the full day. They have it on Satutday September 16th, from 9am to 9pm. Iain says anyone who is up for it is welcome to join them. There's nothing planned for the day, it's a £5 fee to cover the hall rental, which would reduce if numbers are high enough. They'll have most of Prestwick's terrain available for use if needed.

Hoping to get along myself after work, although Stuart and Dave are unlikely to make it.

It looks like Spartan Games just scuttled their ship and sank. Great now I get to chase compensation for the order I had put in two weeks ago. Joy. They just launched a Kickstarter for a new version of Firestorm Armada a few days ago. The folks that backed that should be ok as Kickstarter will have been holding any money, if the money had been taken at all.

Allan is running a Kiss Me Hardy game for John, himself & I'm not sure who else.  Cameron & I are playing Sword & Spear Fantasy (or throw your crappy dice across the room in disgust, as I did last time).

Looking unlikely for Claymore unfortunately, Stuart and Dave can't make it, and my work has screwed me this month due to a change in the way the pension system works which resulted in all my overtime going to National Insurance. And with the way my car drinks petrol, a run to Edinburgh just for a look is a costly prospect.

Got plenty to work on home here without falling to temptation at Claymore anyway...
