Hey Eddie,

I'm happy to play if you want to umpire, can just as easy sort something else out or take a week off if you prefer to play.

Hi John

Glad you are feeling a bit better.
As regards the 7YW just join in with us, if George plays I am happy to umpire to try out the rules. 4 player game will probably be a better test as to their worth.

Hi Eddie

I am feeling a good bit better so am hoping to be in this coming Sunday. I will text Ally to see if he fancies syw and we can either join in your game or have our own.

Cheers

Next week will be trying out 7YW rules 'Honours of war' with Brian possibly George and anyone else?
Brian has 15mm Saxons and I have French would need extra figures for more players.

Doesn't really work that way with frostgrave, it's more about how many games you have played with the warband and not lvl's.
The rules are (imo) wisely restricted to an increase or decrease of any stat/spell to 1 per game played. So though you can gain say 3 levels your spells only get 1point easier to cast, etc.

@ Frostgravers:-

Here's 2p worth.

Wouldn't it be sportsman-like if the more experienced warband player(s) just took NPC warbands that were of equal level with those of the Noobs?  This need only be until the Noobs' warband(s) reached the same levels as the experienced Player(s) own warband(s).

This means that everyone would get a game and the Noobs would progress while gaining insights into how the rules actual work.  Simples, eek!

@Scot

You muse about farming all you want.  I have some sheep, cows, goats & chickens in 25mm scale if you want to use them.

We will continue to play Frostgrave wrong including whatever decision we reach about this. Seems a simple solution.

lol! lol!  lol!

No idea, that would be up to Cameron, but I wouldn't see a problem with you having the same level as Allan had when he stepped aside or equal to lowest level of players still playing. I'm sure we will get a resolution before the weekend. See you on Sunday for Thawing a Lichlord and all kinds of new shenannigans from the campaign book. affraid

I think I'll be getting a divorce if I come in this Sunday, and I'm not even married! So you can play your games wrong without being told off.

Cameron, Scott, Graham & I are playing Dead of Winter.  Stuart is a possible for the game.  Allessio's Little Minion (Scot R) might play if he's in, but he'll tell us we're playing it wrong.  lol!

*** Special Late Breaking News.  Surprise special guest confirmed for Sunday to play Dead of Winter***

*****Extra Late Breaking News:  Stuart won't be in.  Which is good for me because someone forgot it is a 5 player game he has not 6 player*****

I have had to get Steve to delete my old account and start again with a new one.

I can't remember what games were organised for this coming Sunday, anyone care to remind me. Ally and I are trying out the War to the Death Blucher card game, also I think Dave S and Eddie wishing to play too.

Depending on how Debbie has recovered, I may be in. If I am, I'll be participating in the playtest.

I will organise and run a 4 player Battlegroup Overlord game, but we need someone to run another game for at least two players. Not absolutely sure who else is coming in so please post if you are. Brian may be coming in, but doesn't have access to the forum at the minute.
