Thanks George , if Bill and yourself are going for battletech that would be fine. I am not sure about Ally yet and Cameron is welcome to play in Battlegroup game. I knew Eddie and Allan won't be in , should have realised Mick wouldn't also.

Not sure yet John.
Eddie and Mick said they didn't think they would be in.
Cameron mentioned joining your game and that Allen wouldn't be in as it's remembrance Sunday.
Bill and I were considering a battletech ccg game if you aren't needing another player?

I won't be in this week but on the following Sunday ( 12th ) Graham and I will be playing a battlegroup early east front game. I can add another two players if anyone wants to join in.

Thanks Scott and Alan, for a most enjoyable scenario.

Mick, Bill, George, myself and probably Daniel will be fighting a Mech Warrior scenario run by George.

Scot and David trying out a Sharps Practice 2 skirmish, British v French.

What other games are on this Sunday.

Just to say that all the Sheffield lads enjoyed the AWI game and their weekend on the whole and they thank all involved. Thanks to the guys who supplied all the figures and to all those who helped with the set up and clear up as well. And of course thanks to Scott for running the game, and to Allan for all his assistance which helped Scott immensely.

Good to hear to are going to make it Dave. No worries over Friday, see Allan on Saturday regarding going for a beer , You can all sort out times and place then.

Don't think I would be in time for a meal as I need to process my footie pics before heading out. Happy to meet the crowd for a few beers later on though.

No harm in asking them Eddie. Steve isn't coming this year and Bish, Lloyd and some of the others often don't bother with food till later. Mostly it is Tony and Dave that prefer a meal first.

Well John if you don't think so, although we have gone for meals in the past. Thought one or two of them are getting a bit old for a pub crawl, but you might be right enough ?

I get the impression that the Sheffield guys would rather just go out on the town and get rat arsed as that is their traditional weekend at Ayr. Most of them just grab a quick bite and hit the pubs.

OK John.
As regards a meal, Ayr India or the Rupee room could be a possibility.
I am only suggesting this as we are being visited by the Sheffield guys for around 30 years, but how much longer ?

Should we organise a meal out on Saturday night with the Sheffield guys ? Somewhere like Logans in Prestwick or the Chinese we ate at before in Ayr ? Just a thought as a goodly number of folk are getting into the old foggies bracket.

Might be a good idea any thoughts ?
