I will be organising a battlegroup ww2 game and Graham, Doc possibly and myself are playing. Can take another player if anyone wants to sit in.

Thanks Cameron. That makes more sense. Couldn't understand why the British in South Africa list said 1-5 but the sample army earlier in the book had 2 units of 4 bases.

I'll get painting.

No Dave the 2-9 in the list is units not bases and each unit has up to 4 bases in it, and the cost quoted is for each base in the unit. hope that makes things a bit clearer.

Further to my enquiry.....just realised that the Boers can have up to 8 wagons at 15pts each so that's probably where the make weight points come from.

I never say no to lots of Laager Very Happy

Can anyone help me with the army lists for Death in the Dark Continent?

I have made a start on a Boer force but not sure of the army list (p119). Does that mean that they can only have 9 bases of troops in total (I'm doing them as dismounted skirmishers at the moment) - not counting the canon.

Also, does the Leader base come free or is that one of the 9?

It looks to me as if I can't get anywhere near the 300pt mark with this list or am I missing something?

Still too low on numbers Dave, we need at least 4 to 6. I don't think we have that many.

Not sure if it'll make a difference for this sun, but I was planning on coming in. Would that help the numbers any?

Yeah, that's probably the best idea. Can you accommodate me in Frostgrave if Mick doesn't appear?

Eddie, I'll bring my Saga stuff anyway. Does he have his own Saga force or is he borrowing off someone else?

I am thinking of playing the Blucher cars game set in the peninsular war in Spain. Anyone fancy that?

Hey John,
I had noticed a new member on the Facebook site, more games are always welcome. Unfortunately he is on night shift this week but am sure I can sort out a game with him another time.
